I’ve obviously known this quote for years, but for some reason am just now fully understanding it. Choosing to be good or nice or do the right thing does not make you fake, boring, controlling, lame, whatever you want to call it. Having self control and making the right choices are two of the best qualities a good person can have. More people should take this into consideration.
